Amma's circle of Love program is one of her examples of universal compassion.
By selflessly extending ourselves to those brothers and sisters in need of a little loving support, we become more expansive and grow a little more towards the universal compassion.
After disasters ( like Katrina, Rita ) hurricanes, while immediate physical needs are being met by many organizations ( redcross, salvation-army) to the survivors, emotional support is needed. Hence the "Circle of Love" project is aimed at meeting these victims/evacuees and listen to their story and console them.
Your letter and time spent listening to their story will break survivor’s isolation and connect them to a caring community.
Please read the guidelines before you begin to write a letter. Kids are encouraged to write and draw pictures and paste colorful photos.
So far, about 150 Circle-of-Love letters were received from many satsangs in America.. Thanks to all of you. Many thanks to Aikya for this. our team has delivered about 80 letters and will keep delivering the remaining letters to the right groups.
Currently, we do not need any more letters.
